OLED and 4k isn't the end all. While I do have the OLED version of this monitor, I also have a 4k IPS 144hz monitor. They're right next to each other. It's not a big difference. I tend to play faster pace shooters on my 1440p so I can stay above 200FPS which helps more than the better color (really just blacks) display of OLED

It's just a matter of good, better, best. I'd not turn up my nose at one of these, but the newest QDOLEDs are so amazingly good at colors, and if you're in a dim room, having true blacks is nice. And a 27" 4k vs 1440p up close is a noticeable difference. Far away, not so much.

Saying, "it's not that big of a difference" is hilarious and makes me question if you even have an OLED. It's a gigantic difference from IPS to OLED, in both color and blacks.

I think it's a matter of what people want versus what they can get by with. If this product does not meet your want, then it's pass along. However, if it's something a person can get by with and is acceptable to them, by all means go ahead and purchase this product.

For me is a balance of affordability and quality. Everyone wants the best, but the best will almost always have a higher cost.
Then again, we always have killer deals that come by that provide us the quality over price.
After all, that's why we're all here on this forum; to have conversations about deals, providing honest and transparent feedback and voice opinions.

Everyone have a great weekend and pass or get in on the deals if it suites you!

The drop in FPS between 2k and 4k is not worth it, especially on a 27" monitor where the difference isn't much.
Also, at $262, that's a great price for an IPS panel of this quality. Can you recommend a great 27" OLED screen for $262?

It's like this everywhere, people bash anything that isn't the best of the best even if they don't need or it isn't practical.
2k is the sweet spot, I still get high frame rates at high/ultra on my RTX 3080.

Dumb question. Would this pair well with a Gigabyte M27Q for work from home and occasional gaming with a 3070 GPU? If so, which monitor would be better as the primary for gaming?
