imho self propelled, easier to use in case grall is little tall or wet, even of i am disciplined to move lawn regularly, cannot predict rain.

In case of non self propelled, you will have to push hard , blades may stop spinning due to requirement of high torque for tall/ wet grass,

Don't love that they charged $15 hazardous fee for the shipping. I already have 2 80v batteries for my chainsaw and leaf blower so this is a good addition.

I have the self propelled version of this. It's a solid mower. Fired it up today and did two swipes at the lawn to give it the spring "scalp". It was too thick to plow through as low as I wanted to cut it on the first pass. Typically, it's not a problem.

I've had the non self-propelled version for about the same amount of time and it has been solid.

had this for 4 years, loved it. super light and maneuverable. only issue was the hardware securing the two parts of the handle kept rattling off. a couple nylock wingnuts solved that. i switched to the ego ecosystem because of how the kobalt 80v line has been on life support for years, but miss the lightness of the kobalt mower. i could mow a quarter acre almost at a light jog. the self propelled ego is a lot heavier and bulkier.

I have the 80V kobalt leaf blower and weed whacker. Both tools are very powerful and battery lasts forever. I imagine this would perform just as well

I have the same mower branded as a Snapper. Purchased`5y ago. Excellent mower. However, the batteries have about a 1y lifespan.

The push version is very light. No need for self propelled.
