Why would a person get a dedicated edger and not a trimmer with an edger attachment? The latter would have so much more versatility than an edger which is pretty much a one-task item. You can get an edger attachment from Kobalt, or third party. I have a Trimmer Plus branded edger attachment for my Kobalt 80v trimmer and it works great.
