I have the original ninja creami and use it almost daily to make high protein/ low calorie ice cream.
If I didn't already have the original I would be picking this up immediately as this is a very good deal!

The Creami is the first commercial product of its kind since the Pacojet patent expired. It is marketed as an "ice cream maker" because there isn't any generic name for this Pacojet type of frozen-dessert milling/micro-pureeing product.
The initial Creami design performs roughly just as well as the Pacojet, it is a bit more convenient for a home setting, and at outrageously cheaper price than the Pacojet. The Swirl version is a significant improvement on the design that fixes many issues.
This is hardly a must-have product for anyone, but it's a great device if you understand what it is and it's really awesome that they brought a device like this to the consumer market.

Probably good for people with specific dietary needs.

My wife is a pastry chef and always wanted a PacoJet, I almost got her this one but I asked her if this water thing would be an issue and she said it absolutely would be and to get the original one instead.
