Pro can be found on Wurkkos website now for $35 and has the green laser in it. Worth the $8 difference IMO.
I have both the HD01UV and regular HD01. Going to upgrade to a Pro for $35 for my EDC (I only carry the HD01 right now, not both), thanks for that heads-up.
I've got the HD01 Pro and HD01UV. The UV is what I'd let kids play with, since they can't potentially blind someone with the green laser, and the Pro is my daily carry. Both are great lights; lots of fun features and very capable without being overpowered; runtime is sufficient; just remember to charge it periodically (shorter period with more use, longer with less). Are there more powerful lights? Yes. Does trying to be the jack-of-all-trades mean it's not "the best" at all of it's various jobs? Also yes. But it's like a multi-tool: it might not be the best tool for the job, but in practice, the best tool in the world is the one you have with you, and this one will go everywhere with you.
