Is this better than a 55 inch q7f for 280? I bought two of them earlier, for bedroom TVs nothing fancy

too bad its note 55 or 58 because I would buy it. 50 is too small.

TCL did this over Christmas. It'll get fixed eventually but for this price even 120hz

Name a single, solitary consumer TV that doesn't have smart features please.

Major drawbacks I've seen on this unit are the VA panel and the edge lighting, but if you need a cheap 120/144Hz panel, you do you boo boo

Picture quality is Bad. And it's indeed 120HZ on my PS5 Pro VRR enabled so they are not lying but that's it. 120HZ VRR is the only reason to buy this TV.

I'd say it's just what it is. Picture quality is Bad but they are not lying it can actually do 120HZ VRR on the PS5.

I snagged a 65" Hisense QD6 ran me $340 over the weekend at Best Buy. Compared picture quality and brightness to Q7F and Q8F. Beat both by a mile. I prefer Samsung UI much more than fire tv but it's just a bedroom tv lol Highly recommend the Samsung Neo QLED QN90F - should be getting discounted next month

the tv's I have currently in bedrooms are 60 inch F8000 (2013?) apps basically dont work, so we have Apple TV on it. I have the Tv's set to 90% dimness, I just use it for 30 minute sleep timer with a little noise. im thinking the 280 q7f's are going to be perfectly fine honestly. 5 year costco warranty. I only ask because this is even cheaper than what I got.

all I want is, apps that work/current, so I can toss Apple TV in trash. it works fine, but because I use Samsung remote/universal with both Apple TV and tv, sometimes instead of 1 over or 1 up, it'll do 2-3 skips bc tv and Apple TV both catch the response sometimes. just figure 600 dollars for 2 new 55 inch tv's isn't a bad deal in my mind with free delivery, 5 year warranty.

I did read, that q7f removed the smart tv talk stuff, ie. I can say smart tv, sleep timer, 30 mins later, it's very crude but it does work. I guess I gotta hold a button on the tv remote of that feature, but not a big deal. it'll be nice to say, tv, change picture dynamic, or standard, etc and have one mode for 90% dimness for night
