Was your ticket created after a chat/phone representative failed to unlock initially?

Mine was created on May 13, got a message from Spectrum yesterday that they are still working on it.
Did you have the phone on the same line continuously for the 60 days? Very helpful for people to know the details. Thanks

By the way, if you delete your line, they allow you to restore the deleted line within 30 days in case you change your mind. I did this once.
Was it free or paid line? Did they charge you activation fee?

Paid line and no fee at all. Make sure do it within 30 days of deletion and they can restore the free or paid deleted line.

My ticket was created May 10th. My phone got unlocked May 13th.
You upgraded multiple times on the same free line and tried to unlock each phone separately on the free line by swapping in and out just like last year instead of putting each phone continously active on their own paid line, correct?

Have you canceled all the phone lines you are paying for now and just keeping the free line and going to move the phones to that for unlocking when they are ready? Would be so nice if they didn't have to be active on a line to get them unlocked.

I'm seriously thinking of canceling the 3 lines that I'm paying $20 for prior to the 15th. Kind of shady to the sales rep that was so cool and the manager that gave me an extra $400.
How did you get the manager to give you extra $400?

Your right either a phone call or chat. I was able to suspend them through chat very easily and they are off my bill for this next month. They are suspended for 90 days.

Now will see how unlocking goes.
The suspension happened effectively immediately or on next billing cycle? I noticed Spectrum never pro-rate anything. They always charge full month and just move the billing date around based on activation date.

Immediately but the next billing date was the next 1 or 2 days. My bill went from $60 to zero immediately. I have to assume the phones were suspended immediately but I didn't try them so I can't verify it. I asked for them to be suspended and didn't request another date for suspension.

Are you going to put your next phone to be unlocked on the free line or try getting it unlocked without putting on free line. Geez next time I have to figure out how a lot of you managed to get so many phones on the free line. This promotion wasn't very long but I'm thinking some of you purchased at a higher price before?

Yes all 3 phones will go on the free line before I contact support. My next one will be Friday and I'll be surprised if it goes smoothly.

Okay, bit out of the topic question. I have Spectrum internet with one free mobile line and another $20 a month 1Gig line. If I cancel the internet, it will automatically cancel the free promo line too but what will happen to the $20 mobile line. Will it also get cancelled or monthly price will go up for the paid line?

I m planning to cancel both the Internet and the free line . Wanna keep the $20 line just to keep my second phone eligible for unlock.

Do you use eSIM or physical SIM? Please try swapping the locked phone onto the free line a day before the 60th day before requesting unlock and see if it makes any difference. Please keep us posted.
