I have two of these currently. I'm always on board with Govee lighting products. I was impressed at how well these work with the camera while gaming or watching movies. I would definitely recommend and actually would've purchased a 3rd one for another TV but the I'm not showing the sale price here.

I believe the T3 has the 3rd camera on top and the T2 has just 2. I've seen comparisons and if the T3 was to ever go on sale I would get one but the T2 isn't a bad purchase especially at half price.

I had the older version of this on my LG OLED and it worked... fine. I did not like the appearance of the camera hanging off the top—which was hard to attach given how thin the top of my TV was—and the colors were rather muted and the were just slightly behind what was on the screen. It was not noticeable to most, but I could see it.

I ended up getting one that plugged in via HDMI instead of using the camera and it worked so much better. The colors were more vibrant and matched perfectly with was on screen and especially for action films, they were perfectly in sync. It's a great viewing experience.

Avoid, had one... I originally built one with a PI but, due to HDMI 2.1 there was not too many options. Color was perfect, 0 lag, real time..... but, lack if HDMI 2.1 support at the time killed it for me

So I picked up this one. OMG the lag is so bad, a color comes on the screen and I can count 1 then it shows on the wall. It drove me nuts to the point where I just disabled it completely, pulled it off my TV and sold it.

Now that HDMI 2.1 splitters can capture devices are plentiful and fairly cheap. I am going back to a HDMI device.

HyperHDR

In my years playing with this, the eyeball/camera ones are too laggy, get a HDMI based one, real time is critical for this.

Once you use this, and see a HDMI based device in action, you will know exactly what I am talking about.
