Finally a model that fits my vehicle. The 5k mile limit kills the deal though. if it was 7.5 or 10k I might have bit. I aim for changing the oil every 5k but I doing want to have to freak out if I go over the limit.

Seems like the labor is more important than saving a few dollars. Worth it to spend more on higher mileage filters for less oil changes.

This is the shrinkflation version of the TL14610. It is shorter and has less media. Made in China instead of Made in US. The TL14610 used to cost the same.

14612 WILL fit into cars that use 14610. They have the exact same filter diameter, bolt diameter, thread pitch, and bypass pressure point. The only difference is the 14612 is 0.5 inches shorter. I know this because I use 14610 filters on my Altima that takes 14612.
