I tried them on at Shoe Show and they felt more comfortable than the other shoes I tried on in the $50-$75 price range. They had more room in the toe box, as well.

How bouncy are they? Have fresh foam x more v4s but way too much padding. Been wearing some cheap wide toe box shoes from Amazon for just daily walking.

typical New Balance...insane that after 20+ years they still can't make a shoe that lasts
