I just purchased a similar adjustable unit from Walmart last week. I don't like the turn lock on the Fiskars but rather the drill holes and retaining clips in the Walmart Unit better. Walmarts price is $18.88

I have an old pair of sears loppers with twist locks and absolutely hate them because they dont stay locked. Will this one stay locked? Fiskar is a decent brand

I am just not a fan of twist loc systems period. From my experience they eventually loosen and you break them trying to get them tight to hold.
