Castle on ABC

Anyone else watch this?

Unfortunately I missed last week's episode, so last night's didn't quite explain itself and left me lost for a little bit. It was still pretty good though.

I haven't seen many episodes (only started watching about a month ago) but I think it's a pretty good show.

It's sorta like NCIS, without the Navy: pretty bizarre murders that take a somewhat predictable turn and then magically get solved before the episode ends.

I finally saw the episode. The acting by both B&C was excellent. The facial expressions, just great. How are there so many hot chicks at the NYPD? The computer forensics chick (Maya Stojan) was smoking. Love

Anyway, if Beckett accepts Castle's proposal (it'd make the show extremely awkward if she didn't), does that mean they'll call each other Castle? Or does she keep her maiden name? I'm thinking B&C move to DC and the Season 6 starts anew from there. That means goodbye Esposito, Ryan, Sir Capt. Iron Gates, Alexis, grandma, Lanie, etc.

Nice cliffhanger, BTW. A couple seasons ago, it ended when she was shot and Castle told Beckett he loves her. This time, her heart is zapped again. laugh out loud

Also, I was annoyed that the IP address the aforementioned attractive computer forensics chick showed were all bogus IP addresses. Here are some of them that I got a screenshot of:

WTF?! I know that they don't want to use legit IP addresses for some random guy's computer. Fine. But at least use private IP addresses like 192.168.x.x or 10.x.x.x. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) It's like using 555-xxxx phone #s in movies instead of real phone #s.

I can't believe they'll dump Esposito and Ryan... somehow she'll keep her job with NYPD I think.

I still don't know what I think about the episode as a whole.

She *has* to take the DC job. It would make no sense (and IMO, the show would lose all credibility) if she turned down that DC dream job just so she could keep her NYC detective gig. If the show will still be called "Castle", then Castle still has to be involved. So either Beckett gets replaced or Castle moves to DC with her. As far as the rest of the crew, if Beckett is allowed to handpick her assistants in DC, then I guess she could invite Espo and Ryan. I wonder if Tony Almeida (yeah, I know that's his "24" character's name) will be a frequent guest on the show. Then again, with "24" returning next May, who knows, maybe he'll be working that show again (I hope!). Or he can work both since the shows don't air at the same time. In any case, I'm looking forward to Castle S06E01! nod

No big surprise that Castle survived the toxic chemical in his body. Next week's episode looks to be of the more humorous variety after the 2-parter serious one that reminded me of the Paris episode when Alexis was kidnapped.

I figured Beckett would quit the DC job and move back to NYC. Sux for her that she was fired. How did her coworker know it was her that leaked the news to the media? There was no proof of it. What a partner she turned out to be. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
