LG's 77 inch C5 OLED is being discussed as a premium TV best known for its picture quality, with the member price at $1650 and a working Best Buy order reported at that level. The timing looks tied to retailers clearing last year stock before newer models arrive, and there is talk of better pricing through LG partner offers or open box listings. The main hesitation is price, since it was lower a few months ago and some expect it to fall further. Warranty add ons are also called out as overpriced, so a credit card with extended coverage may be the cleaner route.

It was $1620 a few months ago, and some expect it to fall into the $1300-$1400 range or drop another $100 as retailers clear last-year stock for newer models. Best Buy Plus also offers a 60-day price adjustment, which reduces the risk of buying now.

The member price was $1650 new, but the deal appears to have expired shortly after and was no longer available later. If it returns, Best Buy Plus pricing and stock timing may matter.

A better deal may be available through LG, especially with the Sling credit. An LG Partner Store price of $1300 was also reported, though that order was later re-rung $200 higher after a delivery-address correction.

Best Buy Plus can be useful because the member price is lower and Best Buy will price-adjust for 60 days. The main caveat is that refunding the membership may have the item discount deducted under the terms of service.

The warranty add-ons are priced high at checkout, so using a credit card that extends the warranty can be a cheaper alternative. The TV itself ordered successfully through Best Buy.

Has anyone ever refunded the Best Buy membership? Per their TOS they can subtract the discount provided on the item when refunding.

Ordered this through Best Buy today and it worked. They gouge you on warranty though - luckily my credit card extends the warranty. Just FYI

It just doesn't happen.. I've used it before with appliances and after that realized it was pointless .. return/refund .. and that is all.
