The only blanket that has a similar pattern from yesterday is fleece. Maybe its not going to snag but fleece sure isn't "cooling"

Probably. There's one review with a video of it completely falling apart when it's washed. As far as the snags, check the reviews for close up pictures. It's a design that's really easy to damage. Even without pets I wouldn't trust I wouldn't catch something on on those lose threads. It would probably be fine for a guest bedroom, but I wouldn't want an everyday item to be so delicate.
edit: I'm not sure how to upload a photo or a link a specific Amazon review. Many of the reviews with pictures and videos show the thread pattern I'm talking about. It's disappointing because it's a beautiful blanket, but I don't think it will last long.

No it was from the same brand. I'll link it. I was going to buy it, but the code didn't work, although I think this one will probably have similar issues, although maybe not as bad.

Well, yeah...there are only so many ways to make an effective cooling blanket. I have two cats and haven't had any issues yet.
