$20.99 is a good price for this. I got a Milwaukee 220 volt slightly different version for about that but I had to gamble on a an Amazon return. I looked at this one then because it was slightly cheaper then the 220v $26 vs $29 was the price the time.

I guess it depends on the usage. Inverters are expensive.
Usually OK for: Simple phone chargers, Basic laptop chargers, Power tool battery chargers, Incandescent lights, Small fans. Most switching power supplies will still work.
Not recommended for: CPAP machines, Audio equipment, Medical devices, Some laser printers, High-end laptops/workstations, Certain battery chargers, Appliances with AC motors. Some devices simply refuse to operate correctly.
Actually the Ridgid 175W inverter bought in March wasn't so bad, it was $38 shipped.

And all the things that don't work are the ones that need portable batteries.

Nice price. If only Ryobi or Craftsman went this cheap.

I just bought the newest Ryobi 200W. It has a nicer sine wave than my wall outlet.

That one picture shows it out in the rain. Thumbs down this comment if you think this thing is actually waterproof.
