It's a good deal if you need both tools soon. I have the pole saw. It's a beast. I trimmed 17 trees last fall with it. I don't store it with oil in the reservoir because it leaks.

It sure is! Big enough of an issue I put my solution in the recommendation! Same is true with the fuel 16" chainsaw. It leaks in any position and I can't tell where the leak is coming from. I gave up and decided to drain the bar oil reservoir before I store it.

Many brands do not have auto lubricating chains and I do appreciate this feature. Better than risking running the bar dry so I put up with it.

It's a great trimmer but it is on the heavy side. Also, the batteries are expensive. The Forge one that comes with it is around $200 by itself.
