Based on feedback, you're right at 5% chance of a botched sale... If you roll a 1 on that d20, you're going to be dragging that TV box (or whatever they send you) to your nearest FedEx.
To those who ordered, may the odds be forever in your favor. To those who have not yet ordered- don't.

I bought an openbox record player (audiophiles please shut up--it was a simple purchase to start my daughter's vinyl hobby). The description said that it was new with a damaged openbox. For $20, I took the plunge.
They shipped the record player using the SAME damaged box with packaging tape everywhere! So, by the time I received the box, it was falling apart with holes everywhere. The record player had dings and marks all over the suitcase. The spinning tray was falling out and the AC adapter was missing.
I complained to the seller via chat...waited 4 days. No response. eBay said that they would only interviene if the seller didn't respond within a week later. eBay advised that I find out the cost of a new shipping box through FedEx since I took pictures and showed the CSR that the existing box would never survive another shipment (as it barely survived this one) and then ask the seller to add that cost to the refund. FedEx told me it would cost about $15 for a new box. So, I'd have to lay out a total of $35 on the chance that the seller will refund anything or at best, I'd lose $15 on a defective purchase.
I wasn't doing this and I contacted my method of payment and they refunded me without issue. I was angry that they willingly took the loss for me, but I am a loyal customer for them now. Over 2 weeks later, VIP Outlet wrote back apologizing for their late reply and said that they would not cover me for the new shipping box, but would cover the original purchase after receiving the record player from me. I'm glad I didn't wait for them to respond. Learn from my story.

Same here. Poor merchant rep. Please see the consumer awareness thread on this vendor
