The metal part of the handle is only halfway in so there could be some bend, and eventual breakdown if you don't hold it it properly

I picked this back up in November '24 and it's been absolutely solid. This one has been solid ever since while I've gone through a few of other metal scoops (I have 2 litter boxes).
Picking up another one of these. Thanks OP!

Once you switch from plastic to metal, you'll never want to go back. Makes scraping the clumps off bottom/sides far easier/faster.

It works great with plastic boxes but with stainless steel boxes there's too much friction.
I use a nice plastic scoop with my stainless steel boxes.

I use this to scoop pellets into my pellet grill. Helps to keep the dust out so and it works great!

Works great for deep-frying chickie nuggies, as long as you don't let the handle enter the oil 🤓

I have the Petmate scoop for the upstairs litter box and the handle has play in it, like one day it's just going to fall out. I got it in January for $4.84. Just cheap enough to be worth it. I bought the Durascoop in November 2021 for $10.87 and it is $14.99 now but it really is my absolute favorite and probably will last forever.
