Picked up one of these for $50 at Walmart a few days ago (it was the only one, in clearance section with yellow sticker)

Anyone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe this is the DualSense V2 or R6 released in this color variant to Walmart. Sony has removed the MIC, made some changes to the internal motherboard, and supposed to have a roughly 18 hour battery life. Same battery. The updated model number is CFI-ZCT2W. Again, something I saw recently on YouTube and thats ALWAYS accurate....

I haven't had a chance to use this myself, but I heard the same thing about this controller specifically. I believe the newer controllers going forward are supposed to be V2 models.

Got this around bf Xmas very nice design with the ps symbols on the touchpad. Chroma teal is my other controller not some low effort money grab like the other branded game editions. Still think Xbox has the more appealing controllers though

It's lame that different coloured plastic costs an extra $5 to $10 over the original mostly ugly $55 colours.

I have not either, but heard the exact same thing. I know the mic is gone and a little easier access to the battery. I haven't seen anything confirmed on the "longer battery life"

Needed some groceries last night so I stopped by the Eagan MN Walmart. Unfortunately this was $84.99 in the store. This blue looks extremely good (better than the light blue one).
