Has Vornado gone downhill? When I started looking into which fans years ago, Vornado was highly regarded. But since then, it seems like almost any time I see a Vornado fan, it's got mediocre to bad reviews.

Is this a case where ownership changed and the brand is slowly being squeezed? Or maybe they have begun to offer cheaper options that don't carry the same level of quality as what they are known for?

(After typing out the above, I threw it into Co-Pilot. I'm not going to regurgitate what AI said. But it did indicate that the brand was acquired by the holding group ThreSixty Group in 2018. And it did say that along with the acquisition, Vornado has introduced lower-priced products that frequently get "meh" reviews. Their classic products, like beefy air circulators, may still be made well. But the minimum standard for Vornado products has been lowered.)
