I have the medium size of these. They've got good thick palm padding if that's something you need for lifting. I have nerve issues, so good padding is a must-have.

I have Walmart+ and got them yesterday as I'm currently using a cane that is hurting my hand. Provided padding is ok but I still feel the handle. Would definitely recommend for bike users.

I bought these on clearance in some random walmart on a road trip. They hurt my hands between the fingers - not sure if I bought them too small or if this is an issue. Gave them to my kid.

I have a very large dog who pulls when I walk him. I'm going to give these a try rather than full gloves to see if they help protect my hands. Thanks OP

Based on my experience with both my cane and walker, it will help but it's not perfect. If you have + or see them in stores, grab a pair. However, if you have to pay for shipping, Amazon may have a better option.

The size on this posting is a bit misleading. These gloves come in a S/M and a L/XL, so these will fit you If you wear a large.

I have these gloves and they have worked really well for road biking. I've used them on about 8 or 10 road bike trips ranging from 20 to 60 mi. I have this size. I typically wear a size large glove, although if I want a very snug technical fit for a certain mountaineering things I can squeeze into a medium. They do stretch out a bit and I do have a little bit of excess room so for larger hands they should be ok. The gel padding is nice and I find them to be quite comfortable. I have drop bars on my bike but I typically don't use them. My standard hand position is with my thumb on the inside of the upper curve of the drop bar and my fingers on the other side.
