This is a great deal, but like putting a chapter out the middle of a book on sale. Buy it and hope the other books all go on sale

It looks like this is only the second time this book has been on deep sale. The first book has been on the same sale once before as well. The other books have never been this low so cross your fingers for the rest of them.

Or check out your local library's ebook options. My library often surprises me with what they have available on ebook.

By far the best book in the series. I get feeling like you have to read the whole thing, but the first book is a mess and the last five are inconsistent. I didn't read this one on its own, but I suspect just reading it by itself would be fine--and frankly save you a lot of money and time.

Agreed. I enjoyed the first book well enough, The Drawing of the Three was REALLY good, and the rest were... books?

100% agree. This was the book that got me into reading as a young man. And for that reason alone I have loved it. I didn't realize others felt the same way about the series. I feel like it can be it's own book to a point, but it will make you want to read the others (which is the point) but you'll be a bit disappointed I think.

We don't talk about the movie.....
