Be careful using this -- this stuff can hurt your desirable grass when temps are above 90 degrees.

Thanks. In for two. Not to "flex" about yards, but... I've had much better results DIY with this stuff than I ever did with the paid services. I save a ton of money and I've got a slick looking lawn.

I thought about putting this stuff on my lawn but I have chickens. Don't know if it will harm them or contaminate their eggs.

User error! Apply this late spring when temps are above 60 but below 90. Mow the lawn at low setting. Weeds have to be active. Slightly water the lawn before application so the stuff can stick on the weeds. Let it sit for a day or two before watering it in (or rain).

100% skill issue. It sucks because I suck at it.

That's understandable and I wouldn't chance it. Have you heard of Sunday? Check them out and maybe that will fit your lawn needs batter.

I bought 10+ bags when Home Depot had it on clearance for $1.00 per bag a few years ago. I only use about one bag per year, applying it in the fall and again in early spring. It does a good job controlling most weeds, but it isn't very effective against clover.

I have used this in the past and know how to apply it.
So far its maybe 60% effective at best , bought it at Lowes for the same price.
Scotts products have changed for some reason the last few years and I dont find them as effective as they used to be
I stopped buying Scotts at Amazon as the last few products including seed did not work nearly as well as store bought.
Not sure why

Get some 24d weed killer and spray your lawn with it, it will kill all weeds way better than any weed and feed fertilizer

This worked well as fertilizer, but sucked and did nothing for my weeds. I ended up just buying a sprayer and concentrate and that worked best.

Yeah, know your weeds before buying this. It completely took out the dandelions, dollarweed, and clover, but did absolutely nothing for dallisgrass, crabgrass, and foxtail in my yard. If you look at the 1 star reviews with photos, you will see people complaining about it not taking out a weed that the product never claimed to take out.
Quinclorac for crabgrass/foxtail but lord help you if you have dallisgrass like me. Your options are basically pulling it up manually, nuking your yard, or using banned herbicides that have arsenic in it.
