I am not sure why this laptop is getting some thumbs up?

How does this laptop compare with the similar laptop below, which has a better screen (3k OLED vs "2k" OLED)? Is the Ryzen CPU that much better than the Intel?

I don't find either deal to be great. That one is used and has the older Intel CPU (Yes it's much worse). This one is expensive and the screen resolution is a bit low for a screen this size. For comparable specs to this one, I think I saw the Acer around $900 recently.

MC refurb warranty is 90day. If you were to buy a MC warranty similar to the free costco one it would be 10%-20% additional.
