Slap a lithium battery with low internal resistance like an ampace or reliance and the heat isn't as much of a problem.
As for turbo, a flashlight getting too hot is most flashlights.
The xhp70 emitter is a favorite among flashlight geeks.
I have three of these. They're my favorite aside from my convoy m21h lights.
