Another strange Klein tool from the staff at SD. It is not a good day here unless there is a Cold Steel axe/sword/cheap knife or a strange Klein tool

This has been at this price for a while now. Also available at Lowe's.

I just picked one of these up the other day and will say that it's pretty useful if you can use at least half of these. There isn't a place for the Phillips bit that it comes with for when you need to use a nut driver so that might be easy to lose. It also does retract into the handle so it's not so long if you need to get into a tight space.

This particular tool is the most popular thing for DIYers right now, since it's a jack of all trades kinda thing. I've been intrigued but I'm a bit of a right-tool-right job snob. I'm going to pick one up.

It depends what you're doing, but last week I fixed 2 air conditioners, a pool heater, and a fridge with something like this and a multimeter.

Been using this for about 6 months of general maintenance/AC work. It's held up well except the the rubber grip has gradually separated from the handle... Kinda annoying.
I also stripped the ph2 pretty quickly.

I'm a homeowner. 90% of my screwdriver tasks are solved with 4:1 screwdriver. 100% are solved with a ratcheting Megapro. The few times I need a socket set, when I think it will be SAE, it is metric or vice versa. For this, a 1/4" combination set solves 100% of my problems. A screwdriver with all these extra tips and impact-rated SAE-only sockets is a specialty tool. Limited or no use to me, and truly useful to very few here

Depends what you're comfortable fixing. This is perfect for many appliance, HVAC, and electrical repairs. It could even help you with your gutters.

I like these things for having in a travel tool bag. When I go to help family members I don't always know what I need and this kind of thing is small enough that I'll bring it and have all the options

Nothing weird about impact-rated hand tools. Really holds up for when I have to use it to slay the undead.
