Kobalt is such a bad brand, painful to process warrenty. They might tell you go to store for replacement. But store don't know how process replacement. Their item isn't self repairable
Last, quality is pretty bad. I rather do ryobi or craftsman. I literally leave my lawn more outside in Florida. Still working

I've tried multiple of these mower and most have the same issue. They use a proprietary mounting pattern for the blades that require buying the low quality, low lift, non-mulching blades that are made by greenworks/kobalt. Cut quality of these as well as the 21in model is below average and sub-par to a gas model.

They have a variable speed, so when in lower speed, you do not get enough lift to pick up heavy and dense grass. When it does ramp up speed in thick turf, it creates windrows as the blades do not mulch and fluff the grass enough thus creating clumping.

Milwaukee was my favorite, then EGO, then the toro 22.

Kept and used my milwaukee regularly without issue. Mowes 4 small yards on 2 12forge batteries and can be thrown in the back of a truck with ease.

The inability to upgrade and change the blades is an absolute deal breakers as the OEM blades perform poorly.
