I've tried multiple of these mower and most have the same issue. They use a proprietary mounting pattern for the blades that require buying the low quality, low lift, non-mulching blades that are made by greenworks/kobalt. Cut quality of these as well as the 21in model is below average and sub-par to a gas model.

They have a variable speed, so when in lower speed, you do not get enough lift to pick up heavy and dense grass. When it does ramp up speed in thick turf, it creates windrows as the blades do not mulch and fluff the grass enough thus creating clumping.

Milwaukee was my favorite, then EGO, then the toro 22.

Kept and used my milwaukee regularly without issue. Mowes 4 small yards on 2 12forge batteries and can be thrown in the back of a truck with ease.

The inability to upgrade and change the blades is an absolute deal breakers as the OEM blades perform poorly.

I recommend a dual blade upgrade. This will add a high lift mulching blade along with your cutting blade. Takes less than 5 minutes to switch blades. It says 60v blade but this worked on both of my Kobalt 80V mowers.

Do these have the triangular notch for mounting?

Greenworks is the manufacturer for Kobalt's 80V line. This is identical to their Model #MO80L414 mower. Battery is the same but it's keyed differently.

Looks like they've changed the arrangement of the deal, added a battery at full price for a total of 3 batteries:

That 21 inch blade you reference doesn't fit the 2 blade system on this Kobalt 25 inch deck - it's dual 12" blades side-by-side.

I did and returned it, the same day with grass all up in it! It would shut off and beep every 10 ft. I might have gotten a manufacturer mess up but when you pay $600 for it. You shouldn't have to deal with those problems. Plus the battery was draining quick. I definitely wouldn't recommend.

Purchased last month. Absolutely Love it. Can cut the entire yard on 1 battery although two are included. No complaints.

Purchased last month and haven't had any issues with the cut quality.
