18.1" deep. Subtract an inch for handles and badges and a couple at the back for lock mechaniam and you'll wish you bought a 22-25" deep cabinet

When you see it in person you'll note there are very very few workspaces that are less than 24" deep and it seems big until you place a few items on it and all your depth has disappeared

I disagree, but I park a car next to mine. I think the same priced craftsman is the better deal since it's a little wider.
