That's why I added the extended warranty. It includes the 1-year LG warranty, the extra 1-year ThinQ promotion, plus a 3-year Asurion plan. The Smart Inverter Compressor is also covered for years 6–10 (parts only) per the LG spec sheet. Also, for those who don't want to buy an extended warranty, some Visa and Mastercard cards include extended warranty benefits that may provide additional coverage.
I haven't picked it up yet and can cancel and get a full refund. i think the main difference between mine and this one is the counter depth (the same model for mine that's standard depth was only $200 less) + water/ice supply, but the price difference is $1.5k+

I have had hulu included with my cell plan for ages and didn't know I could gain access to the LG partner store with it. Even though I created an account using my GF's EDU credentials, I just created a second one using hulu successfully. I'm good either ways lol
