Past two metro deals I grabbed Razr and Moto G Stylus had 8GB of ram. This A37 has 6GB, there is also an option for a a17 or tcl which has 4GB.

Back when the unlock was 60days, i would always buy one of these as a spare phone, now that it's 365 days, its not worth it.

Thanks for the info. I have ordered a second A37. Per your note, once I receive the phone, I should put an active t-mobile SIM in this A37 and boot it up, then it should work on t-mobile network? It seems working in your case without unlocking the A37 first.

you should definitely try my trick if you are planning to use it on T-mobile. you have nothing to lose anyway. you can always flash back to metro firmware after 1 year for unlock.

As long it's activated 99% chance it will be unlocked after 1 year.

2 customer reps I talked to yesterday said that the plan needs to stay active for the entire year to be able to unlock itself...can't just be active for 1 month...not sure if they knew what they were talking about

For 40 dollars this is quite possibly the cheapest and best emulation device you can get, at the very least it works fantastically as a poor man's steam deck, not to mention all the storage space for its own emulators and roms to run locally when out and about. Grandma is getting the hook-up with this phone compared to overpriced iphones.

Would Metro by T-Mobile allow to port out upon the purchase this device and plan. Once the plan die after the month is up ? How can I port out the number?

did any one experience the same issue during port in ? I tried to port my straightalk number, went through all the pages, and after checking out, when I submit the order, it gives the same crappy message about your security is important to us, and call to place an order and the order doesn't go through.

The worst part is, after this, my straghtalk line become inactive and when I login online, it says there is no active plan attached to it.

It happened to me 3 times ! not sure why I even tried 3 times, but done with it now.
