How is this compared to the Steelcase Leap V2. Can find them in outlets for $200

Steelcase is probably the GOAT. Using a Steelcase I got in 2015 (I'm actually sitting in it as I type this comment right now. Couldn't tell you what changed in that time.)

Dexley is terrible, no independent tilt lock function so it's essentially the same as all the sub $100 mesh chairs (with a headrest).

Hyken is a lot better than this...

Great chair! Lasted me 2 years so far and still going great. Went from a secret lab to this and my back has never felt better. Nothing special about it, just a decent price and enough basic ergo adjustments. Also is bigger than the Hyken I'm 6 foot and could not fit a hyken. Very happy when I got it for this price years ago.

I've got this chair but I don't recall spending nearly this much. I did replace the wheels with some blades. It's a fine chair.

I've always went w/ this price range for chairs. I see some are over $1k like Herman and can't imagine why people get those lol.

That's crazy. I've been through six cheap chairs in the last 10 years including the chair in this thread. I probably need to get me a steelcase...

I've been using dexleys for about 5 years now, and I WANT to switch chairs but I simply cannot find anything that compares, even if I go to the $1000+ range.

Mesh and wide since I have wide shoulders and I'm 6'. Mesh to keep the back cool and wide so I can comfortably rest my arms. That's all I need, and yet dexley is the only thing out there.

The chair quality itself is a 6/10. Get the extended warranty, 3 years if you can. I did for my first dexley, now I'm on my second, and possibly my third soon. Trust me, it's worth the extra money.
