The some of the noticeable differences are:
iPhone 12 starts with 64GB storage, while iPhone 13 has a minimum 128GB.
iPhone 12 battery size 2815 mAh battery), while iPhone 13 is 3227 mAh.
iPhone 13 reaches 800 nits max outdoor brightness, compared to 625 nits on the iPhone 12.
iPhone 13 faster processor, therefore will get more software & security updates.
iPhone 13 has a larger main wide camera sensor to pull in more light than iPhone 12.
There are some other minors which too many to list them out.

Yes, I expected that if you paid for a whole year of data, this should be unlocked on day one as well. Like what is the point of making us wait at this point?

Why are some concerned about unlocking a phone that won't get any updates during/after the year of usage. It's really a good disposable iphone(even at 64gb) with a very good plan for a very good price..that's all!

So, if one wanted to unlock this phone, he cannot do that during the covered period of this deal (365 day), but needs to buy at least 1 extra month just to get it unlocked?

That's the gist of it. Dealing with Tracfone is a frustrating experience. The FCC mandates carrier unlocking after 365 days for devices on prepaid plans but TracFone makes the experience a hassle. The FCC had to sue Tracfone/Verizon to pressure the company to agree to establish a 'unlocking' portal to facilitate the unlock process.

I honestly cannot believe people would mess with this ancient phone or Tracfone.

I just sold my first one on FB Marketplace for $220. just for the phone. Note you can also use the phone on Visible, StraightTalk, Total, Red Pocket, WalMart Family Mobile. Buyer said he uses P-sim to use on Att or T-Mo.
