One of the other forums I go to has one of these threads and I've been turned on to some good movies that other regulars just watched. I was kind of surprised not to see a similar thread here (at least not that I could find.) 
I just rewatched "Kinamand" - a cute drama about a Danish plumber who gets involved in an arranged marriage with a Chinese illegal. Good stuff (Netflix instant.)
So what have you folks watched recently?

I liked it! I'd say 4/5 for me. We were laughing, enjoyed it - even though quite a bit of it was very predictable. I think it's acceptable for comic book-based movies. I expect them to be a bit cheesy.
"Blame it on Fidel" - One of those films where I really diliked all the characters. Boring. 1.5/5
"Hero" - Good Chinese film. A bit convoluted and too much swordfighting for my taste. Really well shot though. 2.5/5
"L'Atalante/Jean Vigo" - Supposedly one of the films that paved the way for old school foreign movies to look all foreign movieish. Fin. 1.5/5
"King of the Mountain" - A pretty good Spanish film about a guy being hunted in the wilderness - it kept me interested. 3.5/5
"The Valet" - A fun French comedy - nothing too heavy and it was pretty predictable, but still a fun watch. 3/5
"Touki Bouki/Journey of the Hyena" - West African film from the 1970s. I have no idea how this landed on my watch list. 1/5
"Nobody's Life" - Great French drama about a family falling apart. I really liked it 4/5
"Walk on Water" - Israeli hitman/operative with a heart. 2/5
omfg i don't know what i want to do more - stab my eyes out with a butter knife, or cut off my fingers one at a time with some of those Made-For-Kindergarten scissors.

it was almost like they had no script and just went into most scenes knowing what had to happen, ad-libbing as they went along. it just felt like it was all over the place, almost like a movie with ADHD! Bradley Cooper's character is bipolar, and watching him act the part made me want to bang my head against the wall. i don't know if it's because the character was just that annoying, or because Cooper is a bad actor.
Jennifer Lawrence is hot though, definitely worth the $1.20

I'm glad someone agrees with me! I almost felt like a complete idiot while watching it last night, because from what I had read everyone loved this piece of garbage.
