The phone has indeed inadequate battery life for heavy user - and imo - this phone is also what a heavy user can't quit easily after getting used to. It is so kind on wrists - premium build - large screen and get almost weightless.

Buy with a credit card that offers purchase protection and extra warranty, such as the popular Cap1 Venture X.

This is a loverly phone, while the 17s and 18s are cheap aluminum and ugly. If the battery isn't adequate for you, my best advice is to spend less time on phone, it's a waste of time.

I bought the sky blue. It came in a battered box with 49 battery cycles and a harline scratch on the frame. It was shabbily packed and I had to wipe the phone off all the dust and fingerprintsmyself. Expected better from Best Buy for an "Excellent". But for $722, I'd keep it. I would have been happier with a brand new one for $840 though.

I bought the light gold myself. My 15 Pro Max needs a new screen (badly scratched) and I don't really like the aluminum material of the 17s and 18s - for watches, I only buy SS or titanium too.

I have this phone. The battery is great in my opinion but I was coming from an iPhone 14 Plus. If you are used to Pro Max level battery I could see where you would be not as thrilled.
