The new MILWAUKEE 3/8" Stubby Impact Wrench delivers the Most Power, Is Lighter Weight & More Compact while delivering 50% Faster Application speeds. Leveraging POWERSTATE Brushless Motor, The Stubby Delivers 0-3,000 RPM with up to 550 ft-lbs of Nut Busting Torque, allowing the removal of the most corroded and stubborn applications. This Milwaukee solution delivers on performance and size, at only 2.2 lbs bare tool. Users will experience less fatigue throughout their work week while fitting into tight spaces and allowing access where larger impacts can't fit without using additional accessories or disassembling components to reach the desired fastener. Equipped with Tri LED work lights to illuminate your work area without the frustration of shadows. 4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL for greater precision and customization to your desired power output, including AUTO SHUT-OFF that applies no more than 15 ft-lbs of torque for hand-tight applications that prevent overtightening when in forward. In reverse, bolt removal mode will slow down the RPM once the bolt is free to prevent bolts from flying around your work area. To change the modes, it is a single-handed operation. By shifting the forward-reverse shuttle into neutral and double-tapping the trigger, you will be able to change modes effortlessly.

Milwaukee's M12 FUEL stubby impact wrench stands out for packing strong performance into a compact 3,8 inch form factor, especially with the included 5.0 Ah high output battery. The 3,8 size fits Torx and triple square sockets well, and the battery works with standard M12 chargers. The main drawback is that the deal has been cheaper before, and the 3,8 setup may push extra spending on impact sockets. It is a compact, capable kit if that size matches your socket set and tight spaces.
DIYers who reach for 3/8-inch sockets like Torx or triple square, because the compact drive size matches those fasteners.
The 1/2-inch combo is also listed at the same price, but the 3/8-inch version is preferred when you want sockets like Torx or triple-square and already have a 3/8 setup. The 1/2-inch option is better if your existing sockets and workflow are built around 1/2-inch drive.
If your current tools already fit the jobs you do, you probably do not need the upgrade. The 2nd-gen stubby is reported to be much stronger than the first-gen and useful when an M18 mid-torque is too large for tight spaces.
Yes, if you do not already own them. The 3/8-inch drive is the reason some buyers chose this version, but it can also mean extra spending on 3/8 impact sockets.
Deals of the Day and other special-buy promotions reportedly cannot be price matched. A price adjustment may still be possible through chat, but it can depend on the rep and may be treated as a one-time courtesy.
Yes. A standard M12 charger will charge the included M12 battery, though it may be slower than a dedicated rapid charger. The slower charge can be preferable if you want to be gentler on battery life.
I have a first gen stubby and an m18 mid torque. Do i need this?
Pretty sure this this m12 is on par with the m18 mid torque. And this m13 is way better than the 1st gen.But probably only reason to get this would be if you have run into situations where the m18 didn't fit and this would. If that's not the case, then just stick with what you have and save yourself from spending $200.
Not working at my Home Depot. Says today only but at checkout even though it shows a large quantity, it says not available for pickup, store deliver or home delivery.
