The new MILWAUKEE 3/8" Stubby Impact Wrench delivers the Most Power, Is Lighter Weight & More Compact while delivering 50% Faster Application speeds. Leveraging POWERSTATE Brushless Motor, The Stubby Delivers 0-3,000 RPM with up to 550 ft-lbs of Nut Busting Torque, allowing the removal of the most corroded and stubborn applications. This Milwaukee solution delivers on performance and size, at only 2.2 lbs bare tool. Users will experience less fatigue throughout their work week while fitting into tight spaces and allowing access where larger impacts can't fit without using additional accessories or disassembling components to reach the desired fastener. Equipped with Tri LED work lights to illuminate your work area without the frustration of shadows. 4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL for greater precision and customization to your desired power output, including AUTO SHUT-OFF that applies no more than 15 ft-lbs of torque for hand-tight applications that prevent overtightening when in forward. In reverse, bolt removal mode will slow down the RPM once the bolt is free to prevent bolts from flying around your work area. To change the modes, it is a single-handed operation. By shifting the forward-reverse shuttle into neutral and double-tapping the trigger, you will be able to change modes effortlessly.

Milwaukee's M12 FUEL stubby impact wrench stands out as a compact 3,8 inch tool that hits well above its size, especially with the included 5.0 Ah high output battery. The 3,8 inch drive is the preferred fit for Torx and triple square sockets, and the bundle is attractive because it includes the battery. The main drawback is that the deal is not the lowest seen, and the 3,8 setup may require buying more impact sockets. It is a strong compact option if that size matches your socket set.
DIYers who already use 3/8-inch sockets, because this compact wrench matches that socket size and feels like the right go-to setup.
Shoppers wanting a compact impact with strong punch, because the small form factor is described as game changing when paired with the included high-output battery.
Owners already satisfied with a first-gen stubby and an M18 mid-torque, because this upgrade is described as unnecessary unless the larger tool will not fit.
The 2nd-gen stubby is reported as much stronger than the first-gen and useful when an M18 mid-torque does not fit in tight spaces. If you already have a first-gen stubby or mid-torque that covers your needs, it may be hard to justify unless you want the smaller 3/8 form factor.
The 3/8 in. version is the better fit if you use Torx, triple-square, or other 3/8 sockets and want a compact tool for tighter access. The 1/2 in. combo is also listed at the same price, so the choice mainly comes down to your socket set and preferred drive size.
Deals of the Day and other special buy promotions reportedly cannot be price matched. Some reps will still do a price adjustment as a one-time courtesy, but others may require a return and reorder.
Yes. A standard M12 charger will charge the included M12 battery, though it is not the fastest or most efficient option. The slower charge can also be preferable for battery longevity.
I have a first gen stubby and an m18 mid torque. Do i need this?
Pretty sure this this m12 is on par with the m18 mid torque. And this m13 is way better than the 1st gen.But probably only reason to get this would be if you have run into situations where the m18 didn't fit and this would. If that's not the case, then just stick with what you have and save yourself from spending $200.
Not working at my Home Depot. Says today only but at checkout even though it shows a large quantity, it says not available for pickup, store deliver or home delivery.
I just bought this last week at $206, haven't had a chance to use it yet. Ordered again today and will return the other one, easy way to save an additional $23 + the extra sales tax.

Anyone who's been holding out on picking themselves up one of these, you won't be disappointed.
What these can do in such a small form factor is game changing, especially when paired with the 5.0 HO batteries like that comes free with this. 👌
