Milwaukee's M12 FUEL stubby impact wrench stands out for big performance in a compact 3,8 inch form factor, especially with the included 5.0 high output battery. The 3,8 size fits Torx and triple square sockets well, and the battery works with standard M12 chargers. The main tradeoff is that the deal is less compelling than earlier pricing, and the 3,8 version may require buying more impact sockets. It is a strong compact option when tight access matters.

Common Questions (5)

The 2nd-gen stubby is described as much stronger than the first-gen and better suited when a compact tool is needed in tight spaces. If your current stubby already handles your jobs and your M18 mid-torque fits, the upgrade is mostly a convenience buy.

The 3/8 in. version is favored for Torx, triple-square, and other smaller sockets, while the 1/2 in. model is also listed at the same price. If your socket set and typical fasteners are already 3/8, this bundle fits better; if not, the 1/2 in. may be the better match.

Deals of the Day and other special-buy promotions reportedly cannot be price matched. A price adjustment through chat may still work with some reps, but it can also be treated as a one-time courtesy and require a return-and-reorder for timed sales.

Yes, if you choose the 3/8 model you may need to spend more on 3/8 impact sockets. The bundle is attractive for people who already own the right sockets or want to build around 3/8 as their go-to size.

Yes. A standard M12 charger will charge the included M12 battery, though it may not be the fastest or most efficient option. Some prefer the slower charge for battery longevity.

I have a first gen stubby and an m18 mid torque. Do i need this?

Pretty sure this this m12 is on par with the m18 mid torque. And this m13 is way better than the 1st gen.But probably only reason to get this would be if you have run into situations where the m18 didn't fit and this would. If that's not the case, then just stick with what you have and save yourself from spending $200.

Not working at my Home Depot. Says today only but at checkout even though it shows a large quantity, it says not available for pickup, store deliver or home delivery.

Active again and ordered, even though I don't need it. 🤣 Just want it because the 3/8 is my go to so this will match perfectly.

That was a year ago; this is the lowest it's been this year (and chargers are a dime a dozen with other tool deals)

This will be frontpage material, for sure.

Anyone who's been holding out on picking themselves up one of these, you won't be disappointed.

What these can do in such a small form factor is game changing, especially when paired with the 5.0 HO batteries like that comes free with this. 👌

Agreed. I use this more than any other power tool in my arsenal. Awesome impact.
