These are great. I've had one for a little under 10 years and it's going strong.

It does hold on to paint and stain, so maybe wipe it down right away if anything spills on it.

I've even brought out this to use as a sideline bench for my son to put his water bottle and sit on during soccer games.

But this fits the bill when a ladder is not needed.

Annoys me that I paid full price over the summer.

This is pretty cool and my only issue is that it's pretty hard to get the legs to retract. I have to sorta jam it against floor and push the release button and push down the legs.

what's really annoying is that you used to be able to buy 2 for this price... not that long ago.

on the legs jamming, stand the the platform up vertical and pull the leg up a bit, it'll relieve pressure on the locking pin and it'll be simple to release... then just let the leg swing down, roll the platform and do the other leg. once you get the hang of it, it's dead simple.

Pretty sure I paid $25 or $35 on black friday probably about 8-9 years ago. That said, almost everything has gone up and at $50, this is still a very handy "ladder".

good deal, but I prefer the wider ones that are less prone to tipping.

Got two a few years ago, surprisingly useful, very sturdy and may last forever.

Yeah, I remember waffling on these "do i really need them" on a deal around that timeframe. One of the best purchases I've made on slickdeals. They are great, have been used quite a bit, and still are in phenomenal (physical) shape.

These are the standard width, have been for decades. Plenty of room to sit on as a bench, and when set up in a hallway, people can walk by it without doing any type of manuevering.

Bought one about 4 or 5 years ago for $35-$40. Owned my brother in law a favor and gave it to him. Went ahead and got another one should be delivered today

I bought like 20 of these when they dipped down to like $23 at home depot. I gave them out in sets of 2 for Christmas presents and while people told me i was an idiot, they actually all loved them when they needed them.

It is worth picking up 2 of these just to have as they replace needing a ladder so often and are great for being able to walk around a bit on them.

I have two and my only regret, like others, is not getting more back when cheaper.

My first one was before they added the center handle. It's amazing how much easier that makes it to move around and set up.

Still a good deal if you don't already have one.
