A Five Guys burger joint just opened today in my area....the first in CA, I believe. I'm dying to go check it out. Maybe this weekend. Is all the hype justified?drool

i make a better bubba burger with sweet onions than what five guys has to offer. healthier, tastes better, and cheaper. five guys is good but it is really greasy.

I honestly don't know what makes it soggy. I don't know if it's the toppings or the greasy burger, or what. I don't think it'd help. Dontknow

The second time around, I ordered even fewer toppings hoping that would make it less soggy. Didn't seem to make a difference. I'm thinking it has to be the burger part.

Either way, I'm not paying $7 for a super greasy meat patty with what looks like mushy dough surrounding it. vomit

I've not had their chicken burgers, I was scared since I'm picky about my chicken and was afraid it might be dry

Eewwww... waffle house is disgusting. It's where all the drunks go after the bars close at 2am, if that tells you anything. laugh out loud

OMG, it's SO far from dry. I don't know what they do to it, but it's always cooked perfectly every time, and it tastes amazing. Smilie

You should really try it! I like the whiskey river BBQ one or whatever the hell it's called. laugh out loud

The Jerk Chicken from there is great. And that seasoning for the fries can't be beat.
