I just ate an entire chocolate chip cookie from Food Ave. It was very good. Then, I googled the nutritional information after eating it. 510 calories and 68g of carb! Faint

I enjoyed my last T cookie. Sadbye

First rule after eating cookies or a bag of chocolates - Never look up nutritional info on them...Just believe you had something nutritious.laugh out loud

Exactly what I was thinking! I also don't care to see the calories in all the Starbucks drinks I consume!

Well, we completed day 9 on the new diet. All in all it was a good week. The best he's had in a long long long time. It is said that there can be a detox period where kids/people can act a little wonky b/c their body is craving the crap. He responded well for the first 5 days which is a good sign. But the past 2 days have been kinda crappy. He has been impulsive & aggressive towards me the past 2 days. A new biting thing he's got going on...lots of time in time out. Other parents that have been on FG for a long time have been very supportive and have said that it is like peeling an onion, but eventually, we'll get to a good place. Some have found that starting with FG they uncovered other food intolerances such as gluten, egg, corn syrup, etc that cause their little ones to act out. My cousin just found out his daughter is allergic to tomatoes. Since removing them from their diet, he says she's a totally different child. I'm leaning towards starting a caveman diet where all he eats is meat, approved fruits & veggies and introducing a new food each week to see what is making him so bonkers.

Once I get a chance to finish my list of foods, I'll post it here. It's just finding the time to type it all up.

Oh and RG, do you do dairy? I wonder if dairy is the culprit to all of your sinus issues. If you do try cutting it out for 2 weeks to see if there's any improvement. Silk makes a super yummy coconut milk and Earth Balance is a good butter alternative (for cooking). I haven't had dairy for over 3 mos now and don't miss it...well except cheese and there just isn't any good non dairy cheese subs out there so I suck it up and go without.

as you can see, i was busy being chatty, but i thought i would be funny first! laugh out loud

ever since i updated my yahoo it's been working intermittently. many times the buttons are just not responsive at all. i couldn't send bff a one line email this morning saying i would meet her at the supermarket so i ended up calling her. and she was busy interviewing somebody. so if anybody has yahoo, they are making everyone upgrade but don't do it until you absolutely have to. it's really buggy. they finally got the buttons on at the end of most of the emails, but not all of them still. refresh and backpage do not do what you want them to do. i've found myself clicking all the time on the *having trouble viewing this email? click here to see it in a browser. wtf? upgrades should work better, not worse. where are they getting these programmers and web designers??? such crappy quality work!
Yeah. Ugh. It took me many times refreshing my page before it would let me use the search function on the emails.

LMAO

... or lack thereof.

yep, pretty predictable i am, aren't I?
i was going to reply to MOT2's witty post of "think you're eating something nutritious" by saying yeah, like bleached white, bromated pure-carb flour, trans-fat filled shortening, and high fructose corn syrup.

Whee

but then i didn't cos i thought the wryness would be lost in internet translation and it would come across as snarky instead of smart-assy. and snarky I is not. I is an m&m - full of high fructose corn syrup - and thus sweeeeet.

and nutritious. of course.

loving hearing the progress and how it's all going. I'm doing research along the way and even found out DD's new 1st grade teacher is a pro at Feingold. Bigeye

I think folks are just so busy lately.. I can't keep up with all my pages here, plus facebook.. so usually FB wins cause it is much easier to look at on my phone laugh out loud
I am hoping things will settle down shortly as we get back into the routine with school and stuff around here.. Then, maybe I can read and post more!
