was out late last nite using up my q's at whole foods. got 4 free rice dream frozen novelties. should have made more of an effort to get those.
On a different note, does anyone have memory foam pillows that they recommend? We just got a memory foam mattress and want to upgrade the pillows too.
Busy times around here. Shopping at T is kinda blah right now so have been spending some time at WM (which in itself is blah but at least they have some good deals right now).
I am looking to buy some of the $10 kohls cpns but haven't been there in awhile. Has anyone used these lately? Any problems? I 'thought' I had read where some stores are not accepting them due to fraud?? I don't really want to pay the money and then not be able to use them.

My T is also becoming a P-fresh store and I finally went there last weekend. It was like a morgue in the store! I thought only the food corner would be redone, but they are actually moving several departments so things were all over. I don't know if I missed the big clearance that people said happens during this time, or if stuff was in the back. There was hardly any clearance and I just got what we went for and left.
Fake $10 Off $10 Coupons on eBay

I wonder if you guys are buying those $10 off $10 Kohls Coupons from ebay. If yes, I would like to warn you that, all $10 off coupons on ebay are fake. I'm revealing the secret of those fake coupons here:
1. The $10 coupons you got from ebay sellers are all in PDF format, right? Those sellers could never provide original kohls coupon links, because they didn't get real coupons from kohls. Instead they make those fake coupons by themselves.
2. You can check the coupon balance on kohls website, just type in the barcode number on kohls website page below (Use Kohls Cash field): http://www.kohls.com/upgrade/webs...alance.j
You will see the value of the coupon is not $10, sometime it will say the number is not in kohls record. You can check the balance of your $5 ones there too.
I bought some fake $10 coupons and found out that all barcodes are identical on the coupons. I used a free barcode Scanner App on my smartphone to read it. Those sellers are putting an universal barcode (which can cheat kohls checkout system) and expired/used $5 off barcode number together to make those fake coupons. In that way, you guys can make your own fake coupons to sell if you want.
So you may ask, doesn't kohls know that? Of course they knew. Someone works in Kohls Loss prevention Dept said, they're to going to take legal action against those fake coupons sellers (not sure for the coupon users). And Kohls is improving their checkout system to recognize those fake coupons.
You guys all know that I was selling $10 coupons for a while. I did get genuine $10 coupon from Kohls via email, but after Kohls changed their coupon system couple months ago, I couldn't get them any more. I know how to make fake coupons, but I'm just too honest to do that. Ebay took down those fake $10 coupon listing 2 weeks ago, but looks like the restriction had expired so those sellers are listing the fake coupon items crazily.
I don't care if you're buying $5 off coupons from me or not, I'm not selling them for living. I just want to warn everyone who's honest.

Well wouldn't you know that I didn't get to read this until AFTER I was told this at kohl's. LOL Thanks for this info. Yes, the manager told me the same thing basically. Thankfully he was super nice and said that people are sending them into people as spam. I agreed of course and apologized for trying to use it as I had no idea.
So are the $5 ones ok to use or should be just refrain from using any right now?
I am asking this seller for a refund and I had better get it!
On a fun note, took my family to see 'The woman in black' movie. It was pretty good but was different than I expected. It was nice to actually go do some things with my teens who always seem to be too busy to hang out with their parents.
they were out of vanilla and choco, so i was only able to get mocha and mint to try. they both contain traces of milk and were mfr'd on equipment that also processed tree nuts, peanuts and soy or contained soy so if you are trying to avoid those ingredients due to allergies, these are not the answer.
i also thought oatmeal cookies w/ mocha was a weird combo. i had a bite of dh's mint which he said i would probably like. seemed ok but i know lots of kids do not like mint cuz it's *spicy*.
i never know when the sales items posted in the whole foods thread are on sale in my region. the wkly flier is practically useless. the rice dream and sambazon was on sale but the celestial seasonings and nasoya was not. i went back on friday when i went to the supermarket and ended up w/ 6 free tofu. i wish they would put out a comprehensive sales circular like the supermarkets. i would probably go more often than the usual once a month.

That is pretty much all the deals right now at WM. Been using BR for O. But our WM have had lots of HBA clearance for super cheap. For instance, they had Clairol Hairdye for $2 each, used the $5/2 mq. They had alot of different brands of hairdye, plus lots of other type stuff. So I have been searching through that stuff for any O deals. Been able to get about $15-$20 O each trip. But stock seems to be getting really low on all of that. Oh also I have some $5 ky cats that I have been able to use.
That is pretty much all the deals right now at WM. Been using BR for O. But our WM have had lots of HBA clearance for super cheap. For instance, they had Clairol Hairdye for $2 each, used the $5/2 mq. They had alot of different brands of hairdye, plus lots of other type stuff. So I have been searching through that stuff for any O deals. Been able to get about $15-$20 O each trip. But stock seems to be getting really low on all of that. Oh also I have some $5 ky cats that I have been able to use.
my walmarts don't carry much of the overage stuff either. no robi to go, always out of ytc, the disposable schick bins are always empty, etc so i didn't even bother looking for the BR. a couple wks ago i was able to use my razor q and get the duct tape at the walmart next to the costco half an hr away. but they don't even carry ytc. only go to costco about every other month or so. one time the mgr there told me somebody came in and bought cartloads from the clearance aisle, so hardly anything left.

we were invited to go to las vegas w/ dh's college friend's family, inc our soon to be 13yr old god-daughter and soon to be 9 yr old brother. we are flying in sat nite, going to a national park like bryce for a few days and then they have a time share from tues to tues in vegas.
was wondering if you could suggest any family oriented day trips out of vegas since a whole wk in vegas is probably way too much.
the mom likes national parks but they picked vegas hoping her mom who is an indoor person would go, but she decided not to.
so far i found Red Rock Canyon Nat'l Conservation Area on tripadvisor that has very good reviews. i haven't had time to do much research yet but was wondering if you had any recommendations from a more local perspective. you can't always trust guidebooks and online recommendations. we went to the seattle experience music project which had a AAA 4 diamond rating which is usually very reliable but not that time. we've also gone to garden of the gods in CO that was recommended by a friend and thought that should have better ratings.
also restaurant recommendations would be awesome but i know it's probably too far.

I have this compulsive need to buy the matching mint green/ brown baby stuff that is part of the T clearance. I have the car seat and Saturday bought the swing/ bouncer seat. I bought a Chicco packnplay that was clearance instead of the Graco one and I'm fighting the urge to track down the green/brown Graco one, as well as the matching highchair. Never had matching baby gear for any of the kids, don't know why it's bothering me this time. lol The only gear left to get are a stroller and a front carrier because we gave the last one away. Front carrier, not the stroller. The stroller that could be used for an infant is one we bought when almost 10 yr old ds was 2, it's been through a lot. Time for a new one, and I want one that I can attach a baby carrier to.
