Gotta clean the house.. atleast the kitchen anyway.. can't see the sink Teehee , should do the laundry.. gotta go out around noon and take DD to a meeting, and run by Publix and get some money back that I was over charged the other day. May run into Walgreens for some more toothpaste and "help" stuff.. and possibly target for paper towels and macaroni..

also need to do laundry here, scrub a couple bathrooms. really should do some returns at target and get more paper towels and mac and cheese. i've been curled up w/ books for the last 2 wks and need to get stuff done. i'll probably do all my errands tomorrow.

tried the sport shaped mac and cheese yesterday and won't be buying any more of that. noodles disintegrated way b4 they were even done. ate them a little al dente b/c i was afraid they would totally be mush if i cooked them any further. i'm just going to stick to original. the spirals also have a tendency to break up when you cook them. unfortunately my nearby store is lazy and doesn't put them out so i've been stocking the spirals. i think i checked one time and they are in stock but i don't think they've ever been out since the q has. they just fill the space w/ kraft boxes. probably cuz they are too lazy to put the kraft back in the stockroom and then they don't see the space for the original mp. ordinarily this is bad for target b/c they have a higher profit margin on their own products but not when they give them away.

Went to ladies' Bible study this morning, now I'm just killing time until its time to get my daughter from kindergarten. My pastor's wife spilled the beans that I am going to have a new little niece or nephew! Big Grin Time to start buying little baby things again! I *should* be cleaning my house ... but I'm not. laugh out loud I did set a load of laundry going, though!

Oh, and I got my order from that deal from last week - LOVE my new K-cups! I got Southern Pecan, French Vanilla decaf, and Cinnamon Roll. yummy

Do they still have those "couponing for charity" gangs hanging around?
LOL I still laugh that they thought they could get away with "couponing for charity" and think they wouldn't notice when it was ALL returned. In addition, someone has started copying manu coupons from the newspaper and using them. Bonk This store used to be fantastic and now they are cracking down and limiting.
I'm impressed you're still shopping being preggo and 4 kids and all that fun stuff. You are my hero! Big Grin

I'd love to hear too on who's reading what! I'm trying to get through Patricia Cornwell's Red Mist. I used to LOVE her, but now her books have gotten so dark and hard to read. This one has been slow moving but I'm determined to finish it!

I looovvvee Cinnamon roll K-cups. Are the Southern Pecan nice and sweet too? I like a little coffee with my sweetness. LMAO

I used them last night and oh my word!!!! The cashier studied the coupons for the longest time!!!!!! She was so reluctant to k1 them but finally did. It was funny because I had my two coupons and they were a few coupons apart in my coupon pile and she spent the longest time studying each one, like they might say something different on each one lolololololol! I wasn't sure if I was even gonna bother but since I had printed the coupons, they were free after GC, and I am not planning on getting DH anything for Valentines I figured that the KY would at least be something. All he really wants is some nooky anyhow. And he might not even be back from his trip until the 15th or 16th Frown

yep, my kids hate the sports one and the spirals.. they only like the original.. not too much problem finding stock on it though.. Only been out twice.. once I got the sport kind cause my toddler will eat it.. and once I got the MP brand of "easy mac".. they don't like the kind in the cups, but they like the easy mac kind.

Well, I am actually not reading anything at the moment.. I finished the "hunger games" a few weeks ago. Read the whole trilogy in about 2 weeks.. Since then, I haven't started anything else.. I have tried to catch up with my Bible reading that had gotten behind.

What kind of Bible study are you doing? I just told DH last night that I am ready to join another. Last ladies group I attended, we did a Beth Moore study.. heart her!

I am loving my new coffee too!!

I have some of the southern pecan from a previous order.. They are pretty good. Not too sweet, IMO.. they aren't quite as strong flavor as some of my others. I drink them and enjoy them, but they aren't one of my top favorites..

My recent order reviews..

golden french toast - I really like this. The best one I ordered this time.. Not too sweet, but sweet enough to detect a definite flavor. It smells very yummy brewing too!

chocolate mint- I like it, but it is kinda weak to me. Will brew on a smaller cup size next time. And the mint flavor isn't quite as much as I had hoped.. But, I have some peppermint syrup, and this is perfect for it..

jamaica me crazy- nice smooth taste, but I really can't tell it is flavored. I enjoyed it though. Kinda like a nice pleasant regular coffee.. (which is a plus cause alot of the nonflavored ones I hate because they taste burned to me)

belgian chocolate- decent.. will definitely drink them.. but, not near as good of a chocolate flavor as the chocolate glazed dronut flavor..

All in all I am pleased because I didn't get any that I didn't like this time like I have in the past.. And, Keurig sent me an extra sample pack that I didn't order.. a iced vanilla kcup.

My all time favorites are creme brulee, cinammon pastry, chocolate donut.. followed by german choc cake, and the french toast!

Okay.. more review than you asked for laugh out loud

LMAO aint that the truth.. I still have to admire both you and setsail.. I know you guys are around my age, and having my last DD about 4 years ago just about kicked my butt.. It just isn't as easy as it was 18 years ago for me Smilie although I am much more laid back and probably enjoy her more!

I don't know if any of you all shop Penney's but I stopped in there today and found some great deals. First off I have to say I love their new pricing. I ended up just getting a few things but their kids clothes were marked $1, $2, and $3. Other items were marked higher but I stayed on the cheapo racks. LOL Winter coats were marked around $6-$8.

Then I found some women's items. Bought 3 workout tops for $3each and a Black Pea Coat Reg $200 marked $20! Now I do have to say, I of course NEVER pay full price for things there anyways so I know the $200 reg price is ridiculously overpriced to begin with but $20..Yep that is more in my price range LOL

Just thought it might be a great stock up price sale for all you with little ones. Mine are teenagers/adults so their stuff was much higher. Frown

Great deals you got! I haven't been to our JCP since their change, but look forward to it. Did you see their insert ad last Sunday? It was totally redesigned and modern, you'd never know it was theirs.

I haven't been in the mood to shop much for anything lately, especially not to play the coupon game. Seems I just go for the groceries I need and use what Qs I can and get what's on sale.

I'm enjoying the last few days of my vacation, just staying home....LOL! The hub and son are off on their annual Vegas trip, and I don't pick them up until tomorrow night. They are having a good time, but haven't reported any decent wins, so they'll probably come home losers. DH ran into a friend at the airport when he was leaving, she was just returning from Vegas and was $5,000 richer! That is never a story we can tell, but it sure would be nice.

just finished in no particular order jayne ann krentz writing as jayne castle-
after glow (rather big flaw in the storyline for me)
dark light
obsidian prey
canyons of night

when she's writing as jayne castle, the books are set in the future and the protagonists have psychic/paranormal powers. she also writes as amanda quick and then her books are set in the victorian era. she has at least one, maybe more trilogies that have a book in each of the 3 eras. they are all paranormal romances. all the books i've read have a common backstory to them and usually have a tiny crossover of characters from other books.

since i get all my books from the library, i don't read them in order, just whatever i can get my hands on. these were paperbacks and i couldn't really discern any order b/c they were too busy puffing the other books in the review blurbs. but i should have read them according to the copyright date, cuz then the crossover characters maybe would have made a little more sense.

if anybody's watching *lost girl* on the syfy channel like i am, i believe it was *inspired* by the fever series by karen marie moning. they never say that anywhere, but too much of story background and story premise is exactly the same for it to be anything but. it was practically plagiarized. the fever series was optioned to become a major motion picture so we'll see what happens. i finished that series early last yr.

ooh, ooh, i have a k-cup review! got a free sample box of cafe escapes milk chocolate hot cocoa k-cups. took them over to bff's superbowl sunday cuz i do not have a keurig, lol! her dh made me a cup. he did it on medium and it was way too watery even after i added milk. and keep in mind i normally use 1 heaping teaspoon of hot cocoa/hot chocolate mix when the instructions say to use 4. bff made herself a cup on small and she said it was too watery also. average 2.5 stars out of 40 reviews on amazon and 21 of them were 1-star so you know those would have been no stars if that option was available. big waste of money and worst hot cocoa i've ever had. good thing it was a free sample. in fact 12 free k-cups was too many. now somebody is going to end up drinking 10 k-cups even though doesn't taste good.

I don't drink hot cocoa, but my family actually liked those. They finished off the entire box Dontknow

Meant to say that I skipped the house work today afterall. laugh out loud actually, I bribed the kids with buying them lunch if they helped clean. SO, DD cleaned the living room and DS cleaned the kitchen.. Left me with just sweeping kitchen, living room and mopping.. Gonna tackle the bathrooms tomorrow!

heart Beth Moore is awesome!! My small group at church is starting her James:Mercy Triumps in March. I can't wait! Amazon sells the member book. Wink

Awesome, thanks for all the reviews. I need to branch out more! Also, I have to agree with Slowtech on the hot chocolate. It was soo watery, I poured it out and haven't made it since!

Thanks for the tip, I'll have to check it out. I liked their new ad, but wasn't sure about the "less sales" approach. I need to find my 3 year old some new tennis shoes, the Dillards sale on New years did not have his size this year.

I ♥ Lost Girl! Nice to see a series incorporate fae characters. I like NBC's Grimm, but never manage to catch it lately and I don't have a DVR. I always watch Being Human and since Lost Girl follows that, I won't miss an episode. I have the first 2 or 3 books of the Fever series, but haven't read them yet. I got them last year with that 50% B&N coupon, sort of been saving them for when I'm desperate for a good read.
