here, people see you trying to merge and speed up even if they are way over 10 car lengths behind. so rude and happens all the time. so dangerous when you are entering the highway. they just won't let you get in front of them even when the entrance lane is really, really short and you need to merge left immediately. sometimes it ends up being a game of chicken. you signal and switch lanes even when you see them speed up b/c you need to enter or exit. assholes!

dh has actually told me not to signal on those long entrance ramps b/c they will just speed up so you cannot merge ahead of them. people here seem to be hard-wired to floor it when they see somebody signaling. so then you have people drive so slow b/c they are afraid to try to merge so you have to practically brake to let them in. so then i'm waving like an idiot, go! go! go! i'm being nice and you can get in front of me and they take forever.

they were going to put a red-light camera in our town but decided against it b/c people were getting rear-ended when they stopped short for the light.

There are some red light cameras in a few cities around here. Kind of pointless because yes, it does seem to increase the rear-endings at that intersection.

The snow missed us- again. Dh is sure that it's because we bought a snow blower. laugh out loud

Wow. And I'm with you, there are a few people I know that act as if they are computer experts but keep calling dh/ me for help. Confused I don't always have time to sit at the computer and fill out forms online for someone else- when that someone just doesn't want to do it themselves.

ank, any luck finding the coupons today?

Short story is that the dr changed the strength of the pills that are the diuretic part, but never updated the pharmacy. It took over a week for the pharmacy and the dr to finally talk to each other. Cold here too.. But, I do kinda like it. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

We went to the N. Georgia mtns yesterday. Spent the night in a hotel and went to a college preview day today. Had a good time with just DH and the girls. The boys stayed home by themselves and didn't manage to destroy anything laugh out loud

Hotel had a "heated" pool. wasn't heated enough for me. DD wanted to swim badly, so my DH got in with her. He was miserable the whole time I think, but he suffered for her.. After about 45 minutes, she was cold and ready to get out. I stayed in the hot tub while they were in the pool LMAO It was really hot, but I liked it.
When we got up this morning, it was snowing..but of course with the spring temps we have had lately, no way it would stick.

Stopped by Kohls on the way home and got some great deals.. Saved about 250.00 they say EEK! then ran into target and grabbed just a few freebies and headed home.. All in all a good weekend, but I am beat!

For the longest time I thought people cut me off in traffic because I drove a minivan. Dh's car was totaled a few weeks ago, we bought a different family vehicle and people still cut me off. My thought- some drivers are just insecure jerks.
That would be nice, if he actually wanted to celebrate them. We used to but now his attitude is, well we (he) missed it, it's over, it's forgotten.

Most other drivers are aggressive jerks, no matter what you drive. The only time I don't get cut off much is if I am driving something huge like a Suburban.

Morning.... or, er... I guess it is afternoon now and it is a blizzard outside Cold
It started snowing in the night and hasn't let up yet. Even worse all my kidlets have a cough and are grumpy sick Frown and DH is out of town.

I don't really see any coupons in the preview I want or need I think. Maybe one or two interesting but Dontknow doubt I will even venture outside today at all.

Cold and miserable here too. I have not even left the house today, which is really odd for me, as I usually make a WG and T circut. No deals and blah outside. We are expected to get 2-4" of snow and ice overnight. I am really hoping they cancel school tomorrow.

DH did go out to get me a paper but the inserts were very boring. Here is hoping next month is better for coupons. I don't really 'need' anything per say but it sure makes for some boring shopping. Thank goodness I have Breathe Right and Tena to keep me busy. LOL

I went out and bought a paper only to be disappointed. We didn't get the regional cat litter coupon here. Frown Other than that the only thing I was excited to see was more Qs for John Frieda. The shampoo/conditioner stockpile is depleted here.

Were they in yesterday paper? I didn't get a paper yesterday or the weekend before that. But if it is in an older paper I probably have one...

I think John Frieda is one of the only coupons I wanted from yesterday but not enough to go out. It looks like most of the snow from yesterday is almost melted even though it is still below freezing right now. I think it was because it rained some during the night. I had a nice thick ice coating on my car this morning that was so hard to scrape and chunk off.

Looking at my coupons and my to do list and feeling overwhelmed. I just wanna crawl back into some warm covers and have some nice sweet relaxing dreams (or none at all!). I have been having the most strange and freaky nightmares lately. I don't remember much of any of them or the ones I had last night, but one involved being held captive in a cement room in chains and my ankles were bleeding from the chains, well metal band things that were hooked to chains. So strange!

I wake up freaked out and then so glad it was not real, at least I still fall back asleep pretty quick. I can't wait for DH to be back home!

The WP Target in KC is remodeling to become a PFresh, as most of us around here know. But this weekend I was told that in addition to the remodeling, they are going to put checkout stands at the mall entrance. They used to have regular checkout stands there when they first opened, but took them out within a few months. BUT this time, they're going to be SELF-CHECKOUT!!!

The guy telling me about it wasn't too thrilled about it. He said it was just an invitation to steal, especially with the check-out right at the mall entrance.

Remodeling should be done about 3/25/2012.
