Scrubbed mine a week or so ago. Now it needs it again. Seems like it gets so yucky so easily, and it drives me nuts.

Last few days have been busy.. dentist yesterday with 3 kids took way too long. But, thankfully no cavities were found
Today I got up and took my 14 year old son to meet some friends at the movies.. They decided since school was done for them, they would take advantage of the smaller crowds at the movies and go during the day to see the Avengers.. DS said it was a good movie. I decided I didn't want to drive all the way back home while he did the movie and lunch thing because it is about 40 minutes away, so me and the girls went shopping.. It was a nice day.. went to lunch, hit 2 kohls stores, went to the mall to look around, and then I went clothes shopping and bought me a new outfit.. Mothers day gift for me
Since, I came home, I have been a bum. I made a quick dinner of spaghetti thanks to the MP pasta and sauce coupon, and just cleaned up the dishes.. I am gonna relax for a bit and enjoy some TV.. Thinking of having some coffee but afraid it will keep me up all night. I bought some new kcups tonight and am dying to try them.. coconut mocha

The kids and I just finished a round of dental visits. Monkey boy chipped a front tooth so I had to take him back another day for that to be fixed. Each girl has 3 cavities (how in the world do I make them brush better? I only have so much control over teens) and that will be two visits to get those done. I had a really old filling that came out and had it replaced yesterday. omg I almost passed out in the chair so the dentist had to finish the filling with me sitting up.
I've got lots of issues. I don't even want to know what they will say when they look at my mouth.
DD has had jaw surgery 2x and now has braces. She's going to be getting a guide plane to hopefully help with the TMJ issues. If that doesn't work, she'll have more surgery. I've spent an awful lot of money on dental work!! She also had to have a tooth pulled and 2 small fillings. Blech. DH had a tooth pulled and one filled (they were oooollldddd and needed done for a long time). I know I have teeth they want to crown, but there's just no money to do that. Not looking forward to that dental visit.
Teenagers... seems like eating late and drinking soda/sugary drinks are 2 of the biggest culprits to tooth decay. *shrug* No clue on how to help you there. Some kids just don't seem to care!

Last year I spend quite a bit getting the kids teeth in shape.. My DD had a root canal plus crown and a filling on another tooth. One DS had a filling replaced that was coming out, and the other one had a tooth pulled.. SO, thankfully, the next visit for them was good, but it has been almost a year now since they went and I was afraid there would be problems. They are teens and especially the boys don't seem to take time to brush.. and even though I have quite a collection of sonicares, they don't use them as often as they use regular TB.. and they never floss.. Well, not until the day they go.
This was the first cleaning and visit for my 4 year old. She was not great during the xrays and I don't know if they even got a good one, but she did get her teeth cleaned while mommy held her hand. She was very excited and loved the new toothbrush they gave her
My 14 year old has an orthodontist consult next week for braces. He isn't happy at all, but he must get them. We had a molar pulled last year and they need to shift the teeth and try to pull the wisdom tooth up to fill the gap. Gonna go for the free consultation and see how much this is gonna cost me..
I am praying the root canal goes by quickly and painlessly.. After the last appointment went so rough, I was just going to pull it.. but decided after several months to give it one more try. I need to have a few other teeth worked on too, but this one is the biggie..
I decided against the coffee.. I will wait until the morning and taste it..

DH is still sick but decided to go to work. They've been writing people up for taking vacay time for sick time and he is all out of sick time after his gout attacks and DD's hospital visit. We were up most of the night, so I am exhausted (and I am sure he is too!)
I should go shopping, but not feeling motivated today. I will probably drink some more coffee and try to get motivated...
Kroger doesn't seem to have super exciting sales lately - either that or I just don't need what they have on sale. I read about some clearance diapers, though, so I may check that out.
I may check out Target. Wouldn't mind going fishing, but not holding my breath when it comes to stock.
I feel for you all who are dealing with dental issues. DS has had a retainer since Dec/Jan and is now ready for braces/bands. Supposed to get them next month hopefully. It is sooo EXPENSIVE!! Our local dentist gave us a contract which allows us to pay so much a month (after a hefty $1060 down pmyt) till it is paid off. It actually came out to $212 a month payment for 20months. Uggh! I wasn't sure how I was going to come up with that each month cause we are on a pretty strict budget but so far it has been fairly easy. (not sure how lol) At least it is interest free! Anyways total for all his ortho including retainer, bands/braces and monthly visits was $5060. Hopefully he will have a million dollar smile when he is done.
Could not find any fish at T yesterday. The only thing they had in that part of the freezer was a couple bags of the clearanced talapia stuff, rest of shelf was empty. There was a tm that seemed to be resetting that area so maybe I will find some sunday. There wasn't any signs up for it on the veggies so maybe our area didn't get the deal.
I stopped by a few WG and did about 20 transactions. Now I see that today is friends and family day. That figures. But I did manage to gain a few RR's. My SM said she ordered me 50 starbucks refreshers for sundays sale. Uhh, I only have about 25 cpns. Guess I will spend the day looking thru my families cpn stash to find some more.
Absolutely nothing going on at WM. Did manage to find the $1.24 kotex liners for some O. Much easier than ad-matching. (thanks for the tip Thrifteh) Sometimes WM really drives me nuts. Went to the first one and almost bought strawberries for $1.88 but decided to wait. Went about a couple miles to the next one and they had them for .98!! Really? I would have been so ticked had I paid the higher price for the same exact brand!! I usually ad match them to Aldi's but they weren't in the ad this week
I am getting closer to my final vacation savings goal. I made $65 on ebay over the last couple days and have some stuff ending today. At last count I needed $85 but I sold a couple things to the neigbor for $10 so I think that leaves me needing $10!! Should make that today from ebay. Now I am on a mission to save/earn the $180 we need for 2 adult tickets to universal studios. I have exactly 2 weeks to do it. I was hoping that coke rewards would offer them before our vacation but they have had nothing but junk lately.

Photos, if you don't mind me asking, what do you sell on ebay? Stockpile items? I sold on ebay for probably 5 years, mainly used books but also anything else I found in my travels, and I have tried a few stockpile items but never had huge success with them. Except for the Sonicare from Target a couple years back, and the Oral-B toothbrushes.
I'm getting ready for another sale tomorrow. A little nervous because I know I haven't completely replenished from last time. Not that my stock is necessarily low, but I would love to have a $$$$ sale, just not sure the inventory is enough for that.

I hate the dentist, too. Desperately need to get in there and get my teeth cleaned, as well as all the kids, but I just hate going. Its going to have to be a family event, though, because no way can I calm my own nerves, let alone 3 kids six and under.
