Holy $#!t I thought you were pullin' my leg! He really did EEK! what does that mean!?!
Desmond seems to be trying to get the flash-sideways people to remember the other timeline by exposing them to similar situations and interactions. The accident with Locke might have been an attempt to recreate his fall when his dad pushed him off the building.

Really? Wasn't it just Desmond one upping Locke for tossing him in the well?

It was a pretty good episode. Sawyer had some great lines in this episode. Pretty funny.

Sayid's a zombie and Claire's nuts
Who the hells Anakin?
"You, me, Jack, Sun, Hurley, and that pilot who looks like he stepped off the set of a Burt Reynolds movie."
"That was before she started drinking Locke's Kool-Aid."

I doubt we'll be seeing Walt, since the actor is 17 now when he's still supposed to be 11 in the flash-sideways. As far as Michael goes, who knows, maybe we'll still see him, although he always lived in New York and the flash-sideways have all taken place in L.A. thus far.

The polar bears broke out their cages, ambushed the ABC HQ, and stole the last few episodes......they got bored with the fish crackers
BTW: The writers feel like the polar bears have been explained (experiments from DHARMA), so if you were expecting to hear more about them, you're not going to.

It wouldn't surprise me if we see him in the current timeline though.

I don't think so. Desmond seems to be operating with a purpose, not out for revenge. One theory is that he's really the next keeper of the island, despite not being a candidate.

No boycott for you! High Five

That was great to see them reunite and for Sun to relearn to speak English. Cool

While I'm annoyed by the flash-sideways stuff, last night's episode tied them up pretty nicely.

When Jack jumped off the boat, it reminded me of when Sawyer jumped off the plane a couple seasons ago. Kate must be thinking WTF is going on w/ people abandoning vehicles like that. EEK!

iLocke is going to be so pissed the next time he sees Sawyer. Whee

Illana looked much better in the flash-sideways than she did on the island.

Is Claire sane? Kate trusts her but no one else does. And when she blamed others for abandoning her and how the MIB befriended her, why didn't someone correct her and say it was she who left the camp? Confused

I don't know that Kate trusts her, I think Kate feels guilty that she took Aaron and that that might be the cause of what happened to Claire, so she's trying to make up for it and hopes that reuniting her with Aaron might 'cure' her. The French woman went batshit crazy after she lost her baby too.

Speaking of Desmond, do you folks think that Sayid really killed him (in cold blood) on the island timeline?

Has a major character EVER died on the show without it being shown on camera? Desmond isn't dead. Sayid never shot him, he lied to Locke, knowing that Locke wouldn't call his bluff.

I think I actually said "awwww" out loud when they spotted each other. Yeah, I'm a sap. Blush

Iagree

Even though we've been lead to believe that smokey is "stuck" in Locke's body, I still can't help but think that his motive for wanting Sayid to kill Desmond is so he can take the form of Desmond and give "Desmond" back to Widmore (which would really be smokey).

I guess we'll see next week in two weeks... Sadwalk

What if Desmond is the replacerment Jacob and the (chosen) candidate is the replacement Smokey? Could explain why iLocke doesn't want the candidates on the island, not that he is trapped but will be if a replacement takes over....idk
