But I has no beer.

I have recently discovered the joys of anchovies by the way. I am saddened that I did not know sooner.

So every page I read is different, but I am thinking 425* for an hour or until it hits 160*. Some say up to 450 degrees, some say down to 400.

Use Alton Brown's recipe. You can never go wrong with Alton Brown.

http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipe...index.html

Change the seasoning if you want, but butterflying it like that not only makes it cook faster, but it stays moister. Put the lemons and such under the bird and then make a pan sauce after.

But we don't drink Crying I do have some wine that we used for a recipe a while back Dontknow If it really makes a difference, I could see if Publix sells beers individually.

Do you use convection? My oven has both regular and convection. I don't think I have ever cooked with convection though.

Think I said convection enough? CONVECTION! Whee

Some places do.
I know some people use Dr Pepper (trivia: there's no period) to make ribs, but I haven't tried them yet.

Hmm... so butterfly the chicken and lube it up or shove a can of beer (if I can find it) up the rump? decisions, decisions. I am making mashed potatoes, broccoli & biscuits with it.

I do have poltry shears. Just bought them actually. I still have never cut a chicken though. I am kinda dumb too. Hope I don't ruin the poor thing. After all, it did die to feed me, the least I can do is make it pretty.

I'm afraid I'll need to see more evidence before I believe this.
