I am a man.....I have a girl that is interested in marrying me....I feel uncomfortable with our age difference and feel she is too young, but need other opinions because I am no expert in marriage, having never done it before.
I just want to get different opinions on what the women on this board feel is a reasonable (to them) age difference...Please post your opinion, no matter what that is. I am asking women only because I feel they are more in tune with this and have a better perspective...
Thanks in advance.

snap!!
Age is something to consider. Do you think you would be happy with a younger wife?
My parents are 6 years apart. Their marriage isn't great, but even if they were just 2 years apart it wouldn't make a difference, I don't think.
It's a lot of work. Both of your "Free time" will evaporate. There will be less time for vacations, etc.. It is worthwhile to have kids, but you have to be careful that both people are ready for the commitment. Too many people have no idea what they are getting into, and then they are unhappy afterwards. This happens at any age.
If she truly wants to start a family and is willing to give up the carefree life, then I would not be worried about the age difference. There might be other stuff to worry about
I don't want to push any specific religion on you, but some religions have marriage prep classes which are very useful. They force you to talk about all the awkward topics, like how many kids, money, etc.. It's not a full proof system, but I think it may be a good idea for you guys to take a simliar seminar/course. It's nice to have a facillitator bring up these topics (I would recommend this to everyone).. It won't guarantee the marriage will last, but it is a good idea.
35 is the oldest I'd be willing to marry.
And thats only if he looked young and was in good shape.
