AMC's The Walking Dead [Spoilers!]

Did you watch?

For a show on a non premium cable channel, I thought it was very good. I never read the comic, so I don't know how it compares, but I'll be watching every Sunday. pisses me off that I don't get AMC in HD though.

I am guessing Hershel put up in there before they arrived at the farm without much thought. Besides, even if he new who Sophia was, he didn't want them to know about the barn.

Also think hershel knew it was sophia he put in their but he didn't care to tell the others or they might have thought he did it on purpose.

When they were getting the 2 walkers out of the mud, Hershel said something about Otis being the one that rounded them up and put them in the barn. Then in the preview for the next episode, he says that Otis must have put her in the barn on his way out to hunt the deer. Then of course in all the excitement, they (apparently) didn't notice an extra little girl in the barn. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
That would be an explanation, but it's kind of poor story writing.

They better leave the farm, the last 7 episodes have been mostly boring as hell.

This is what was said on the show The Talking Dead, which goes on immedietly after the walking dead.

Otis is the one that would bring walkers to the barn. When the group met Hershel/Otis/rest of farm, it was when Carl was shot. Because of the panic over Carl being shot, Sophia was never brought up. The day Carl got shot was the same day the group met Hershel etc. Later that night, Shane and Otis went to get the medicine/equipment from the school. Otis was shot and eaten that night by walkers.

Basically, Sophia had been a walker for a long time, and was in the barn the whole time. Otis was the only one that knew about her being in the barn because he brought her there, but he never said anything to the group because the topic of Sophia being missing was never brought up until after Carl was fine and Otis was dead.Smilie

I didn't see that one coming. I knew she was in there as soon as they killed all the zombies, and you heard a shuffle coming from inside. That's when I knew it was her.

It's got to be a ratings strategy. They take their MOST popular show and run the first half of the season during the November Sweeps period to make their numbers look great when they really count. If they blew through the rest of the season now, 6 more episodes, they wouldn't have anything to air when February Sweeps comes around and those numbers would suck.
I'm afraid it may backfire on them since this season has been so slow and boring. There might be a lot of viewers who forget or don't care to come back in February.

Very annoyed by this! I was expecting a few weeks between, 3 months is ridiculous. Atleast they can quit searching for the freakin kid now though.
