Did you watch?

For a show on a non premium cable channel, I thought it was very good. I never read the comic, so I don't know how it compares, but I'll be watching every Sunday. pisses me off that I don't get AMC in HD though.

Remember Morgan raided and took the entire police stockpile to his home and they loaded up on a few from him. I didn't account for how many but it was a dufflebag or two full of them as well as ammo.
I guess I'm being close minded for thinking a sheriffs office in a subub of atlanta would have a stockpile of Automatic rifles.

well, I would think by now most of the former prisoners (aka WD prisoners) would be killed off by now. I think Rick et al should think to explore the rest of the prison for weapons and food. they should have stayed at Woodbury and picked off the gov. as he came back.

They like to hunt out in the county? laugh out loud I know, I wouldn't suspect they'd have a bountiful amount but they had several shotguns, guns with scopes, and a ton of ammo for automatic and semi-automatic from what I could see a long time ago as well as what Morgan had.

One thing they haven't touched which I find irritating is that the prison is only partially explored. They are in the C block. There is an A and B block and the A block is where the armory is and that's when they will really load up on weaponry. B block is where they dumped off the prisoners and left them to fend for themselves so it's partially clear. However, A block is also clogged with zombies so they'll have to dig that out. I hope Pray that they dig deeper into that next season.

With 7 months between now and the next season, and how bad last night's finale went, yeah, I could see myself losing interest in the show.

I'm gonna have to rent Boondock Saints (1 & 2), to see if Norman Reedus can lure me back. I hear there's a shower scene with his naked butt. laugh out loud

What a terrible finale...my gripes:

1) Let's take 3-4 episodes to build up this epic prison showdown yet the Governor loses his sht and ends up killing most of his people?
2) When the big group were fleeing outside the prison, there was plenty of gun fire being exchanged yet NO ONE got hit? Pretty sure there was a big group huddled together running across Glen/Maggie's sights yet their automatic rifles didn't hit one single person? wtf?
3) Once the Governor's army fled, let's round up THREE people and go after them...there's only 30+ heading back to their fortified base (before they realized the Govenor killed everyone)
4) Rick and them get to Woodbury and literally spend the entire night there and come back to the prison in the morning. WHERE WAS THE GOVENOR AND his two goons? Did they get lost or go get hammered at the local strip club?
5) We are running low on supply and food...let's just bring back 40 people to join us

Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy the show and have been very patient with the story building but that finale was just awful. The viewer should always have something to look forward to...some type of climatic ending so that we're all excited for the next season. I definitely did not get that feeling after last night's episode...

Tattletale Hershel.
Look like a fair kill to me.
It's borderline. They told him to put down his weapon and he didn't but instead advanced slowly on Carl. However he didn't raise his gun towards them either. Iffy but in a Zobmie appocolypse, it's kill or be killed.

Glad Andrea is dead. I'm pretty disappointed only 1 of the 27 was somebody we knew, and I'm not even sure they killed 27.
The governor was awesome! Especially how he got out of his truck and just started yelling at them. They were pretty weak though.. Glad he's still alive.
WAY TOO MANY COMMERCIALS.
Glad she is dead too since she was nothing but annoying the sheiot out of me. Can you grab the wrench/pliers before or during the conversation with milton. He's dying and will come eat you soon, hurry the fugg up!!!!

Ok I gave this series a chance.... and watched the last two episodes.
Not good not sure why all the hype.
Is it just the zombie killing scenes...are you all THAT easily entertained?
Whats with the arrow avenger guy on the Harley?
Boltman, start at the beginning. You basically sat down at the finals of organic chemistry in college course and said what the fugg does all this mean and why you guys care so much about this crap? What's up with this chemical on the Harley anyway?
It's a good show if you watch from the start..

Are you picking up the issue that most if not all M16/AR15 style rifles would be only semi auto instead of full auto. If so, yes not that great in terms of accurateness but it's just a tv show. Also, many suburb now allow sergeant to have a semi rifle and so do the swat guys. Ever since the bank robbery in Los Angeles with the russians in full body armor and ak47s, PD around the couuntry have been adding them to their stockpiles. Take some of your brain (common sense/logic) out when watching TV like I do. I can become overly concerned with some aspects so I give them a lot of literary / tv writing license.
I'm no gun smith but I'm sure they can all find tools and what not to convert them to full auto. I'd rather keep it at semi as I'd rather save bullet and only go for head shots.

I don't think Woodbury is as secure as the prison. The prison has brick walls mostly and has many locked doors and gates. Woodbury had too many holes to allow for people to sneak in. Rick and the group did it, the prison has a hole as Tyreese and his group got in but that's known and can be dealt with by locks.

I'd sure like for them to completely clear the prison and resecure the complex. Search for food/guns/ammo/bed mattress and so forth. Also take time in S4 to clear the zombies around the inner perimeter of the prison and start growing some food.

Agreed. I think they will explore the prison more. I think they will find that gaping hole in the back of the prison, ward off a crap load of zombies, and then find a way to get it secured. As far as food goes, Hershel is a farmer. He'll farm the land for veggies and with Daryl doing the hunting for various meat, I have a feeling it will be pretty cool to see how things have evolved.

When did it say they were running low? Were they complaining about it and I missed it? The baby is only a month old...and when they got tot he prison they got a cafeteria FILLED with dried goods that the prisoners were squating on. That would have fed them for a year+, and could feed the Woodburry people for the full winter at least.

If they have run out of all that food already, it is because they were gorging themselves.

Interesting stuff about alternate endings that were filmed for the finale:

just watched the finale. I have to say I'm disappointed. Reasons have been discussed here already so I wont go into it. But there was no cliffhanger for the next season. Kinda disappointed about that too.

Would it have been better to have a one-eyed scowl from the Governor immediately before they unloaded the refugees from the buses? If so, pretend like that happened. The crazy train has departed the station, but has not reached it's final destination.

Kinda makes me wonder if, perhaps, it didn't end like we thought. We never actually see Andrea get shot, after all. I doubt there's anything to that thought though. At least I hope not.

Thanks for posting the link. It was cool to be able to see more of Milton as a biter. I had wished to get more than the brief glimses we got during the episode The makeup was so cool and we don't get to see someone we "know" transform very often.
